Do you still remember 2008 China Olympics? I think 2008 China Olympics is one of the most memorable events, especially its opening with its creative and stunning scene really exhibit the prosperous side of China .
And also we all know it needs colossal amount of money to organize it and to operate it. Is it worth to put money into this 17 days event? Can organizing countries get profit out of it? I do not know maybe I will find answer while I am blogging.
However, honestly, I am inclined to put money into Olympics.

Hey...
ReplyDeletei enjoyed reading the first of your blog. Personally i wouldnt put money into the olympics, but i think that is because i was never a fan of watching it and i dont really follow up with it, also i think it is a total waste of money, does the country that hosts the olympics get any sort of profit from it?
Many people would think it is worth putting so much money into an event like this, and since it only happens every 4 years then maybe people who like the event and really enjoy it, and support countries for organazing it and spending such amounts of money...
waiting for the rest of your filter blog to see what others think=]
Hey!
ReplyDeleteI do remember that particular Olympics because thats the first time I said to my mom "Mom.. im going to China! " hehe. Of course she didnt believe! But anyways... It was a fantastic 'show' and I cant even imagine how much money went into putting it on! Like any show.. ie Cirque de Soleil, It is for entertainment purposes and the more money you put into it the more money you are supposed to get out! I guess sometimes it doesnt always work that way though! Looking forward to reading the rest!
